Reading Notes: Narayan's Ramayana, Section D

  • Still continuing the thought of High School Rama Drama:
    • Cut to a scene where Sita is being tortured and harassed by cheerleaders or another group along those lines
    •  Ravana is hanging out in this abandoned warehouse with his posse receiving "counsel" from them ("They are just a bunch of weakling nerds. They can't do anything to hurt us.")
    • Someone who is actually disillusioned by the group leaves being done being part of all the horrible things that they do and get away with to join Rama as an ally
    • Montage of assembled army gathering and working in union to take down a bunch of bullies and the establishment
    • Rama and Ravana facing off with spiked bats all across the warehouse battlefield
    • Ravana trying to give himself an unfair advantage with a gun?
  • Okay, but when you think about it, Sita has been in Ravana's possession for months, probably the whole time being watched and harassed by those female rakshasa. She has some incredible willpower if she has been resisting whatever Ravana has put her through up to the point when Hanuman shows up.
    • Write a story from Sita's perspective during the time she was captured
    • Maybe have her escape on her own
  • Instead of the battle between Sugreeva and Vali, make the battle between Rama and Ravana inspired by Dragon Ball
    • Invoking weird magics or powers by screaming them to the heavens
      • Danda (Ravana, seeking missile), Maya (Ravana, illusion), Gnana (Rama, dispel illusion), Thama (Ravana, shroud world in darkness), Shivasthra (Rama, counter to Thama), Garuda (Rama, counter to Ravana's spell for snakes)
      • Ravana chucking boulders and other heaving objects, bouncing off a bubble of air around Rama
      • Rama invokes ultimate technique (originally weapon) of "Brahmasthra" aiming at Ravana's heart
    • Zipping around in Dragon Ball fashion
    • This is not even my final form yet
